Worker guide

For housekeeping, floor staff, technicians and anyone who does jobs on the phone

On this page

Your job in the app is simple: open the job, do it, take the photo, send it for check. Your supervisor checks it the same day. That's all.

Your manager gives you a printed job sheet that lists the jobs that are usually yours. This guide shows how to do any of them.

1. Get started (once)

  1. Install EarthReheal from the Play Store or App Store.
  2. Open it. On Login to EarthReheal, type your mobile number in Email or Mobile Number.
  3. Tap I need a one-time staff code, then Continue.
  4. Your manager or supervisor gives you a 6-digit code (or shows a QR on their screen: tap Scan code from the admin's screen). Enter it in OTP and tap Verify and Sign In.
  5. When the app asks Enable Biometric Login, say yes. From now on you open the app with your fingerprint.

If the app says "This mobile number is not registered", your manager has not added you yet, or added a different number. Ask them.

Use only your own login. Never sign in on someone else's phone or let someone use yours. Every job records who did it.

2. Your screen

The bar at the bottom has four tabs:

TabWhat it is for
HomeToday's jobs as coloured boxes, by area. Red means do again.
My jobsAll your jobs in a list. The red number is how many need you.
ScanScan a QR sticker on a bin or machine to open its jobs.
MeYour profile and settings.

The card at the top of Home shows jobs today, Do again and To do. When it says All clear!, you are done for the day.

3. How to do any job

  1. Open the job. Tap its box on Home, or find it in My jobs. If you are standing at the bin or machine, use Scan on its sticker instead: it opens that item's jobs.
  2. Start it.
  • If you see QR Scan Required, tap Scan QR to Start and scan the sticker on that item. You must be standing at it. This is on purpose: it proves the job was done on the spot.
  • Otherwise tap Take Photo.
  1. Take the photo. Make sure the thing the job is about is clearly in the picture: the bin with its lid and label, the meter reading, the logbook page. The app records the location of every photo.
  2. Fill in the details under Data Entry, such as weights, readings or counts. The app shows how many are still left. Write a short note under Notes (optional) if something was unusual.
  3. Tap Send for check. You'll see "Sent – Your job was sent to your supervisor to check." The job is now locked until it is checked.

If a job comes back

When your supervisor sends a job back, it turns red on Home and shows Supervisor feedback with the reason.

  1. Open it. It says Fix and send again.
  2. Fix what the supervisor asked. Scan the sticker again if asked, and take a new photo if the photo was the problem.
  3. In the notes, explain what you fixed.
  4. Tap Send again.

Do jobs that came back first, before new ones.

4. No network?

Keep working. If there is no signal, the app shows "Saved on this device and will submit when you reconnect." and a bar at the top says Offline — n items pending. Everything is sent automatically when the phone is back online.

  • Don't delete the app or clear its data while items are pending: you would lose them.
  • If the bar says Sync failed — tap to retry, tap it once you have signal. If it still fails, tell your supervisor.

5. Do and don't

✅ Do❌ Don't
Do the job, then take the photo, at the place, at the timeTake photos in advance, or photograph a photo or a screen
Weigh and type the real number, even if it looks oddGuess, round off, or copy yesterday's number
Report a problem the moment you see it (overflowing bin, broken lid, leak): Home → Report a problemWait until the end of the shift and "fill everything in"
Allow camera and location when the app asksTurn location off to save battery while working
Tell your supervisor if a sticker is missing or damagedScan a sticker from a different bin to "make it work"
Use your own login, every timeShare your login or your phone

Why it matters: these records are your organisation's legal proof that the work was done. A record made at the time is worth a lot. A record filled in later is worth nothing, and can get the organisation into trouble.

6. Problems you may see

The app saysDo this
Wrong sticker – this sticker is on X, but this job is for YYou are at the wrong item. Find the right bin or machine and scan again.
This item hasn't been linked yetThe sticker is not set up. Tell your supervisor; carry on with your other jobs.
No sticker on this item yetYou can still do the job. Your manager is told the sticker is missing.
Sticker is damaged or won't scanTap Enter sticker code instead and type the 8-character code printed on it.
Location is offTap Turn on Location. If you are indoors with no signal, choose I'm indoors or No signal here.
Camera permission is requiredTap Allow camera. If nothing happens, go to the phone's Settings → Apps → EarthReheal → Permissions → Camera → Allow.
The app asks for your fingerprint every timeThat is normal after the app has been closed for a short while. It keeps your organisation's records safe.
You are signed outSign in again (section 1). Your saved jobs are kept.

Anything else: ask your supervisor first. See also Troubleshooting.
