Why this list is short — and why that means more work, not less

Consents, registrations and licences are issued to a premises, not to a legal entity. Every campus holds its own State Pollution Control Board consent under the Water Act and the Air Act, its own bulk-waste-generator registration with the local body, its own fire NOC per building, and its own FSSAI licence per food premises. Two campuses on opposite sides of the same city are still two addresses, two sets of buildings and two canteens.

So the rules on this page are only the ones that belong to the institution: recognition and approval, the statutory returns, the POSH committee the employer constitutes, the radiation licence held in the institution's name, and the waste its own central grounds and transport crews generate. Everything else — waste management, effluent, air, fire, food safety, groundwater, bio-medical, hazardous and laboratory waste — applies once per campus, and that list is on the college page.
